Kristin Howeth has prior experience working for private law firms and practicing in civil litigation and criminal law. Her experiences in these areas have proven useful to her divorce and family law practice, as the issues often overlap. In addition to her former experience in private practice, Kristin Howeth worked as a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant at the John Marshall Law School, a highly coveted position.

Kristin Howeth has the unique experience of clerking in the Criminal Appeals Division at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where she wrote numerous appeals. While in the Criminal Appeals Division, Kristin Howeth honed her persuasive writing skills on complex criminal law matters.
