Karen M. Schetz
Karen M. Schetz is a Partner at Steiner Howeth Pasquesi & Hatch, where she combines her legal expertise with a background in psychology to provide thoughtful, client-centered representation. Karen takes the time to understand each client’s unique family dynamics throughout the divorce process. She’s a strong advocate for resolving cases out of court whenever possible, aiming to reduce conflict and preserve family resources. However, when a fair settlement cannot be reached, she is fully prepared to litigate in her client’s best interest.
Karen is highly experienced in all areas of matrimonial law, including child custody, property division, maintenance and child support, financial discovery, and post-decree matters. She also drafts pre- and post-nuptial agreements. With a focus on clients with complex estates, Karen has represented business owners, professionals, and their spouses in high-stakes cases.
